2nd Annual BBF Invitational: A Day of Golf, Community & Purpose

The Benjamin Benefit Foundation proudly hosted the 2nd Annual BBF Invitational on October 19 at Shadow Lakes Golf Club — a day where golf, community, and purpose came together to honor Benjamin’s legacy while raising meaningful funds to support families and children in need.

From the first cup of coffee at check-in to the final putt on the 18th green, the day was filled with connection, generosity, and heartfelt support. Despite watching storm clouds roll in on the radar, we were incredibly fortunate and grateful to beat the incoming weather. Every golfer was able to finish their round before the rain arrived, a small but powerful reminder that the day was meant to be.

A Day on the Course

The morning began with a light breakfast and warm welcome as golfers checked in, grabbed coffee and pastries, and connected with friends old and new.

With a shotgun start, teams headed to the fairways ready for friendly competition and a full day of play. Throughout the course, participants enjoyed contests and interactive games, from longest drive and closest-to-the-pin challenges to fan favorites like the Windshield Break Contest.

After completing their rounds, just ahead of the approaching storm, guests gathered indoors for a buffet meal, awards ceremony, raffle prizes, and time to celebrate both the competition and the collective impact of the day.
